After two room changes and fleas we didn’t stay - they did refund our money but it was through Expedia so we were not refunded the whole amount - that was not the hotels fault - Expedia refunded us about 15.00 short !! Better than nothing

This Motel 6 was clean and comfortable, and the Manager, Kevin, was friendly and helpful. I wasn't looking for a lot of frills, just a good basic room for a good price, and this was it!

I was mother of the groom

I was in Sidney for my son’s wedding. I was on a tight budget. I read the Motel 6 review’s I then decided to stay there. I will say that it was noisy as it is conveniently located at I-75. The gentleman at the front desk was professional and after I checked in, he addressed me by my first name for the rest of my stay. I liked that!

The hotel needs some updates. The ice machine area is a bit iffy for me. It felt like someone could grab you. Base borads definitely need some attention. Ac in the main building not working a believe because once you leave your room its so hot. The beds were a bit comfortable. Due to being hard.

The door hinge was broken and the floors were dirty. The staff was kind and friendly. Other than that is was ok!

Improvements needed

Room wasn’t the cleanest—floors could not of been mopped—our fridge was set to defrost, noticed water so cleaned it up with a (white) towel, VERY dirty once finished bed not comfortable, pillows were the worst, Our particular hallway had a dog barking and reeked of marijuana—thankfully we did not bring our young grandson with us. Will probably not stay there again, although the staff working the front desk were extremely nice, and room service did check in every other day.

Good Value at Motel 6 in Sidney, Ohio

The hotel was clean and secure. The hotel manager was friendly and helpful. Amenities are bare bones - in line with the price. There are several restaurants nearby. We enjoyed our stay.

The location of the hotel is great. Close to restaurants and the interstate. The room itself was fine except the bed covers were stained. The towels were threadbare and also stained. We went to the Walmart and purchased towels to use instead. The water in the shower took a minute to flow out of the shower head. It was at least hot water but pressure was less than strong. I would not stay at this hotel again.
