There was confusion about our free breakfast, but staff straightened it out. Comfortable and quiet room. Mini fridge available and complimentary bottled water. Valet parking was efficient. Breakfast at hotel was excellent!

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Centric in Washington, D.C., and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is nice and quiet, and the staff was professional, friendly, and attentive, which made the stay enjoyable. However, I did notice some mold developing inside the bathroom, which was a bit concerning. While I am not particularly picky about such things, I can imagine that someone with higher expectations might find it problematic. It’s something the management should address to maintain the hotel’s otherwise high standards. Another thing to note is that parking is not included, but there are nearby options in the vicinity that are reasonably convenient. This hotel is a solid choice for a weekend getaway. My stay from Saturday night to Monday morning was comfortable overall, and I would recommend it with just a few cautions for those who are particular about cleanliness and parking.

The room is noisy. One noise source is the AC, and the other is the water pipeline inside the wall. The curtain does not block the light well, which undermines my sleep quality. Finally, I am a Hyatt discoverist member but I was not offered the benefit.

Stay was fair
From desk staff was mixed in terms of service. Upon our check in and check out they were wonderful, as well as the valet staff. However, the front desk attendant (young caucasian female with dark hair) who worked on Saturday morning (11/16/24) was extremely rude, impatient, and had an attitude. Otherwise, our stay was reasonably good.
