Some rehearsal needed
I had two night stay at Radisson Red O2 to attend business meeting in city. When I arrived two (polite) people at reception did not know if I had paid my reservation or not, which I had done weeks ago.
When I got the room, bathroom had really bad sewer smell. I reported this three times but nothing happened. Shower was coming apart as well and was quite a hassle to use. Some of the common spaces were little dirty but overall feeling was clean(ish).
As I was returning from conference on the second day, the key card was expired for some reason after only one night. I went to the reception and they asked for the room number, how long I am staying and if I had paid already.. I kind of hoped they had asked some sort of ID when re-issuing the key as it seems there was no record of my visit.
Breakfast (included in price), was quite typical one for UK hotel. There was the regular beans, scrambled eggs, bacon etc and white bread. I had hoped for more fruits and fresh produces in general but you could still easily fill your plate and get good start on your day.
Staff was very polite on all of our run ins and this was clearly the best part of my stay quality and other wise.
