Great location & view. Shower needs upgrade.
We had a lovely one night stay. Location was amazing, the view from the room was also amazing. Downside was the floor we were on (10th) had refurbishment works going on in the room next door and the drilling was very loud. The shower was a bit dated and use wasnt great when the water kept stopping during use.

Clean, comfy and charming, great views
Fantastic location and spectacular view of Tower Bridge and St Katherine’s Dock. We visited around Christmas so there was a cute little festive market outside. Room was clean, comfortable with old-school charm but could probably do with an upgrade (e.g. instead of keeping the fax machine modem, install plug sockets with USB ports!). No noise at all and excellent value for money when booking in advance.

Loved that the property was right next to the tower and the water. We had a wonderful view. The hotel was next to numerous restaurants and the area seemed really walkable. Staff was friendly.

Would have been nicer in a Travelodge.
Room was very tired. Shower only worked intermittently, and was mostly scalding hot or freezing cold. Every time pulled shower curtain it pulled off the rail. No plug sockets near the beds, no bedside table for one of the twin beds. Dripping tap in bathroom. Single spare socket in bedroom only worked intermittently. Heated towel rail didn’t work. All reported and nothing seemingly done about any of it. Lifts permanently jam-packed. Hot Breakfast luke-warm at best. Bed was comfy, and did get bottled water daily, but very unlikely to stay again.

We rented a suite. It was beyond my expectations. Checkin was fantastic. The hotel is very nice and I would stay there again. The location is perfect for walking around London.

Lovely location. Staff was great. Our room was supposed to have a Tower bridge view but we were on the 1st floor so ventilation shafts were blocking the view. For £250 a night we were hoping for a better view.
