Our stay at St Giles

The hotel was okay - and represented good value for money. We upgraded to a superior room and I wouldn't like to think of the size of the standard room. There was just enough room to walk around the bed in one section. The room was divided into two with a sitting area. There was no air conditioning in the bedroom so I think it would be too hot in the summer. There were no drawers to put things in - only open shelves. The Tv's (there were 2 - one in each area) were really small and hard to watch. The best thing about the hotel is its location - right in the middle of Soho, China town, Theatre land, Leicester square and 2 minutes from the tube.

Great Value for Money!

The St Giles offered a small, clean, very reasonably priced room for my two-day stay in London. It is ideally located in the West End near to the Tottenham Court tube stop making it perfect for coming in and out from Heathrow Airport for the weekend. The room is small but perfectly functional. It was a great solution for the tourist who wants to focus their money on touring!

Great for one night

It was an ideal place to stay for one night. The room was small, but perfectly formed. My only issue was that the bed was small and a little uncomfortable.

central and reasonably priced.

stayed with a group for an event at the Houses of Parliament. Hotel is always a good choice as it is central and very close to the Elizabeth line. My only criticism is lack of vegan options at breakfast at the Cucina kitchen..it's 2025 so you would think they would understand dietary differences.

Said we were upgraded, No we were NOT, very small bed room with and even smaller side room. Extremely cold, radiators and air con NOT working. Small electric heater only. Kango hammer all afternoon. In the morning NO hot or cold water. Reception not interested. Dreadful experience. T D Fenner

We stay here most times we come to London. It's pleasant, could do with an update, but is clean and beds are comfy. Close to a tube station and Oxford Street is walkable.

Would stay here again!

Just a quick to London and second time staying at the St. Giles. Love the location and will be back. Had a small issue at check in because of the way it was booked and resolved in minutes. Rooms could use a refresh but I look for clean and safe which at met my expectation.

The room had everything I needed for a short stay. It was compact, but sufficient and the room, including the bathroom, was clean. The hotel is in a great location for visitors to London.

The room was cold. I assumed it was normal as there was no heating control in the room. I stupidly didn’t call reception as I don’t stay in hotels often, so am not practised at it. I slept in my coat and had very little sleep.

We stayed in room 388 which they made up as a twin for us. Unfortunately this means placing one bed flat next to the radiator and switching it off so the person does not burn themselves. The bed side wall mounted light is now dangerously close to the persons head occupying the right twin bed. If this was a double it would be safe. BUT not as a twin. Also the shower did not have much pressure and when it did come through it was then very hard to turn it off. It kept dripping. The TV needed to be retuned. Both of these maintenance issues were reported only the TV was fixed.
