Great location next to the train station. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The only thing that dipped my score was the room clean in the middle of my stay. I'm not sure if i received fresh towels after leaving one on the floor

Good, convenient choice in Central Manchester

A good, basic place to stay near Manchester Piccadilly. The rooms are very reasonably priced and a highlight is the buffet (continental - no cooked offerings apart from boiled eggs) breakfast: there is plenty of choice. The only thing I found surprising - and I see other reviewers found the same - is that despite the hotel's "green" aspirations, cardboard mugs are provided for tea/coffee in the room and the "Philly" cheese at breakfast came in single-portions packed in plastic. Strange!

Just ok…

Nothing in particular was wrong with Motel One it just left us feeling a little disappointed… especially at £250 a night. Just a functional stay with average service. If someone asked me “would you stay there again?”, I’d say “no”!and I guess that’s what really matters.
