Overall 5/10. The staff were rude and always looked extremely miserable to speak to you if you were a tourist. The room we stayed in had a hair ball by the mirror. There were people smoking outside the hotel (not cigarettes) right near the entrance so you’re blown away with the smell right away. We requested cleaning and we did not receive any. Only decent thing is that the hotel had a lovely smell when you walked in- made the bed & underneath the mattress was a horrible dirty stain that looks like it had been rotting for ages. Was very unpleasant.

The hotel is calm and close to tram stop. The staff were polite but some of them rude. Had a doubt on tram station and route to atraction. When asked he said refer to google maps. Can't explain everything. I booked a queen bed but was given two single beds . It took them three days to sort it.

We stayed at this hotel back in 2019 and had a great stay. So much so that we decided to stay here again (December 2024) on this trip to Amsterdam. We will NOT be staying here again and here’s why. Upon entering our room, we noticed no tissue paper in the bathroom and no refrigerator in the room. Our friend in a different room did not have a functioning safe and her hair dryer was broken. She requested the hair dryer be fixed at the front desk and it never got fixed even though they said they would. There’s a small sign in the room that tells you you have to order room cleaning or towel replacement by scanning a QR code. This is all in the name of being environmentally friendly. The site says you can schedule cleaning or towel service for multiple days, but we found that we could only do it on the morning of and they require that you do it before a specific time (the sign and the site have different deadlines…). This is a total inconvenience. The default should be room cleaning with an option to opt out of the service. On the first day we ordered the towel service only and when returned at night found that the service was not done. While showering in the morning, we noticed hot water would run out in the middle of showering. Leonardo Hotel Rembrandtpark on the surface presents itself as a high end trendy hotel. But the reality is it falls short in the details where a pleasant experience really matters.

Spend Christmas 🎄 in Amsterdam visit our son who lives across the park infact our room looked on to his house the hotel is in a great location for transportation in and out of the city center also about 30 minute walk hotel rooms are amazing the staff also rooms have great views breakfast amazing loddy is nice also rooftop bar also very nice brilliant choice from Scotland

Great hotel in Amsterdam that is close to the city and is still far enough to be out of the hustle and busy streets! There was a small miscommunication with the hotel staff but was handled the next day. The breakfast was fantastic and the bar was also very welcoming and enjoyable. Would highly recommend this hotel for one the best views of Amsterdam!!

Room given us when we first arrived had not been fully cleaned and the safe wasn’t working. Mentioned this to staff who immediately apologised and upgraded us from a queen deluxe to an executive room along with drinks vouchers. Customer service was excellent. Breakfast bufffet was also very good and the views from floor 17 where a bar is located and breakfast were amazing. Tidy and clean hotel, just a little tired in some areas.

Fun in Amsterdam!
I felt like it was a good location, near public transit (which I took advantage of daily). One of the tallest buildings in Amsterdam (it seemed) so I recommend going to the outdoor roof bar on the very top to see the excellent views. Enjoyed a delicious latte made every morning by a very kind gentleman in the lobby.

The rooms were lovely, had a great view of the city. Right beside a tram station that took you right into the city centre for only a couple euros which was handy. The rooms were clean, and you could request new towels and for the room to be cleaned whenever you wanted. The staff were lovely, nice rooftop bar although a bit on the pricey side. There’s a snack bar at reception to get drinks and snacks which was really handy. The rooms were lovely, really spacious and clean. Would totally recommend, at such a great price for such a nice hotel.
