The hotel itself was fine. The location was super convenient. My room placement was really unfortunate on the 12th floor near the lift. The lifts are quite old and make a horrible clanging noise every time it stops. It was incredibly noisy and even with earplugs in it was difficult to sleep. I understand though that it's not cheap to replace a lift. I suspect if I was in a different room my review would be much more positive.

Excellent stay! Hotel was very clean (smelled amazing!!) and staff were very friendly. It is located right next to the Aldgate tube station which made it very convenient for getting around London.

Good but food needs a tweak to improve
Hotel was lovely. Evening meal was a little disappointing (way over-seasoned with soy and miso) we didn’t find the food was good as some of the reviews we’d read - although breakfast was excellent We gave feedback at the time which I hope they take on board.

In the evening it is not the best experience because a bunch of people line up to go to the rooftop and the people are drunk and loud. The staff tries to prioritize the hotel guests but still not the best experience

Amazing room - was checked in very quickly and given a complimentary bottle of wine as a thank you for coming back! The room was tidy, spatious and had a great view - bed was really comfy and bathroom was modern! Will be coming back!
