The room and bathroom were a lot smaller than showed on the website. There was no shower door just a curtain. Very very small shower area. Barely any pressure from the shower head. Water either freezing cold or boiling hot. Bed was very uncomfortable and pillow was really really thin. No heater in the bedroom. It was negative degrees at night and we were freezing cold. When we reported this in reception on check out we were told the heater has not been working and that we should have asked for a portable heater. No one informed us about this on check in. At the end of the day when we arrived the staff had open our bedroom window! When it was freezing outside and there was no heating. To reach the bedroom we had to go up 60 stairs. Only good points: staff was nice, room was clean and good location (5 minutes walk from Paddington station).

Lovely staff
I enjoyed my stay. The staff were lovely. The only issue was that the radiator didn’t work so the room was cold on arrival. I tried turning the valves but it didn’t seem to help. I arrived late and only stayed for one night so happy enough with the experience. Thanks!

Lovely staff. Extra small is extra small.
I booked the extra small room, and I just think it is important that people understand it is extra small. I have stayed in plenty of small rooms, but this room was definitely the smallest. This is not a complaint, but those who stay in such a room need to be forewarned that it is a single bed with a tiny bathroom and limited storage space. The entire walking space is perhaps 7 steps. I stayed for two nights, and it was comfortable. The staff at the hotel were very lovely and helpful. Some of the kindest I have encountered. Location is minutes walk from Paddington Station. Overall, very happy with the stay.

This is a no frills hotel but does the job if you're looking for somewhere to lay your head. Clean (but very small) rooms, friendly staff and in a great, central location with tons of restaurants, bars and excellent transport options all within walking distance. And the price is right.

Liked the area the hotel is situated in as very close to Paddington Station and the underground system. The room was basic and the rain shower wasn’t very powerful. The shower door didn’t close properly so this had to be addressed on arrival. We were given a basement room which meant being able to hear the underground trains very late at night and being able to hear people banging about in the room above us. On checking out of the hotel we asked if it was possible to leave our bags and collect them later during the day, we were told anything after 2 pm would incur a £5 per bag surcharge. Would I stay again? Probably not at this particular hotel, but would definitely consider hotels in this area.

The location is perfect as you are walking distance from the tube and the bus. There’s also many food options around.The staff was great and friendly. However, the rooms are very small so you are mostly paying for the location.

Hotel is in a great area close to train and bus stops and Hyde Park. Staff is friendly and helpful. The property needs a bit of maintenance and cleaning. My shower flooded the whole bathroom, mattress needs to be replaced, sheets did not fit the bed properly and carpet desperately needs a cleaning.
