Close to tube station. Buckingham Palace and Elizabeth Tower “Big Ben” were within walking distance 15-25 minutes. Area had some good places close to eat and drink. The staff were great and the rooms were lovely.

The location was perfect and the breakfast was good. However our room was dirty and the towels were stained. We went down for a late evening tea and dessert, waited over half an hour for a slice of pie and pudding, when we got the pudding it was burnt. Too long in the microwave.

Very clean and super comfortable beds and pillows. A block from Victoria Station made it super easy to get there on the Underground from the airport and around the city. Would definitely stay again!

Helpful professional staff, good location for walking and sightseeing. September 2024, however, there is a lot of renovation work being done during the day inside the hotel and also road work around the perimeter of the hotel.

Disappointing stay
Room was supposedly an Executive room, which is above their so called Standard and Superior rooms. Room looked tired with stains on carpet, cracked floor tiles in bathroom, and large mirror in bathroom with tarnished edges. I did double check with reception just after checkin if room was definitely executive standard and they said yes. Mini bar was present, but empty and not even a bottle of water to be seen anywhere in the room. I am a Platinum member and regular visitor to London, but despite its fantastic location, will not be staying at this hotel again.

Tiny room with a terribly designed bathroom. Very old building. If someone opens the door to the bathroom while you’re on the toilet, they will hit you. Very dated. The Riu next door looks much more modern. I have know Idea how they got such a high rating.

Such a disappointment
The bar saved this from being a 2-star review. Food was great and the servers were excellent. The room was a disappointment. The bed was so hard and why isn't there a top sheet? If you are too warm under the duvet, then you are cold with nothing. The tub was disgusting. It needs to be resurfaced and recaulked. There looked to be mold as well. The water was also dangerously hot. You should not list that you have both laundry facilities available and offer laundry services. They are NOT the same thing. The charges for the laundry service was a joke. 9 pounds to wash a shirt? Are you crazy? The front desk staff was very helpful and welcoming. However, I cannot recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very close to buses and trains. There are a lot of food options within a few blocks. The hotel lobby is welcoming and the staff are very friendly.

Not happy with hotels.com nor the park plaza hotel. Had booked my original 3 night stay. Our plans changed and decided to book 1 more night at the start of the stay. Tried contacting hotels.com to add the day. Would not help. Only suggested i book a seperate stay. i did. In doing so the hotel would not combine to stay in 1 room the entire stay without a significant fee. Saying the rooms were 2 different styles. Even though did the same selections on hotels.com. So not happy. i feel i should not have had to pay the fee. And should be reimbursed.
