Modern, clean hotel 10 mins from underground

We were originally dubious of the location, but a brisk 10 minute walk from Old Street station led us to this impressive hotel. The chilled lemon-infused water in reception was appreciated on arrival, as was the friendly, informative attitude found at the desk. Our family room, for 4, was clean, spacious and contained everything we required. My children were so excited about the pool, and it lived up to their expectations. Very warm, complimentary towel loan, padlock loan for the lockers, and again, all very clean. We did have an issue with room service, delivery took longer than expected and one side order was missing. Upon informing reception, the duty manager visited our room, apologised profusely and adjusted the bill to more than make up for the delay. He seemed to genuinely care that we were happy, which is unusual. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic. Although laid out in a buffet style, the food wasn't dried up and rubbery, instead constantly monitored by the staff and refreshed. The standard fried breakfast was available, along with healthier alternatives, fresh fruit, what appeared to be the contents of an entire bakery, even the coffee was nice. The cost of this hotel when compared with others of a similar standard was very competitive. I can only assume that the location puts people off? Don't let it. Ok, so it's not surrounded by the historical buildings of central London, but the community feel of the area is actually quite attractive in its own way.

Chambre propre et fonctionnelle. Hôtel bien situé pour une visite de Londres à pied. Personnel jeune et sympathique. La piscine avec hammam et sauna agréable après une journée de visite. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et de bonne qualité
