Our junior suite was very spacious and modern, bed and shower were both great. Room had a good view out over city. However, on arrival we followed the instructions given, to find the car park only to find a diversion in place which added confusion, time and unwanted anxiety into our arrival. Once parked we had to queue for over 20mins to get checked in. While checking in two members of staff at the next desk were having what sounded like an argument, lots of stern words and unprofessional attitudes. All this made the whole arrival to the hotel feel very stressed and uncomfortable. While our room was lovely it lacked some basic amenities. There was no information in the room about the hotel or what facilities were available. I tried using the website and the QR code but there was not a great deal of information to be found. The fridge in the room was broken and the basin for the shower was very worn and unclean. We paid for breakfast but on arrival was met with yet another big queue. Plenty of tables but staff were slow to seat. Once we sat down however there was plenty of good food available. On checking out we got back to the car to find we couldn't get out of the car park. Eventually it transpired that we should have received a code to exit but we were never given it. Again adding time and stress on to our day Overall really disappointed with some of the service and standards. I understand the hotel was busy but that shouldn't compromise the stay of those who are booked in

A mixed overnight experience
At check-in, there was a queue of at least 10 people on arrival. We gave up and came back much later. We tried to order room service at 8pm, it took 1.5 hours. If there are staffing shortages, this should be communicated on arrival. I'm assuming this was the issue, rather than poor service. At breakfast, the staff were great, the food and selection was very good. A complete contrast to check-in and the room service experience.

Our second stay this year at this hotel..Really convenient for us travelling by train (Piccadilly station is 3 minutes walk away). Metro station also 3 mins walk away if travelling to Coop Live etc. Comfortable, clean, quiet. Large room, cosy beds and a shower equal to a jet washer (in a good way). The breakfast is fabulous, varied and plentiful. Staff are knowledgeable, helpful and considerate.

Just stayed for one night and didn’t use the spa or dining. Convenient location right next to Piccadilly train station. Good size rooms, comfy bed, big bathroom with separate shower and bath, iron and board, toiletries provided. Pretty much anything you needed was in the room. Very comfy.
