The rooms are very basic with no water glasses in room, but clean. I went to the bar for a few alcoholic drinks, it was not well maintained, after ordering the drinks, the lady asked me how I wanted to pay, I said cash, she said she did not except cash. This was not what I expect from a welcoming hotel. I left the bar, went to the Premier Inn across the street, they were very happy to except cash, also it was a much cleaner bar area, I had the drinks I required and a very delicious cheese burger.

This was my second time at Thistle and it was again a wonderful experience. From the ride in the pod to a delicious dinner at the Aviator restaurant, everything was lovely. The room was spacious and clean and the staff was eager to please. Next London visit I will definitely use again!

Tired hotel with rooms that belong in the 80s. No lift so suitcase dragged up and along corridors for ages. Food in the restaurant was pretty bog standard. The only positive is convenience to T5 with the quick monorail (expensive)

Good location

Good location, easy to get to heathrow terminal 5 by public bus (10mins, bus stop right outside hotel) which is cheaper then paying the hotel to use the heathrow pod. Comfortable enough room.
