Unique ideas, friendly staff, great location

Cracking place - ideal location for seeing the Christmas markets Really interesting and unique ideas in the rooms. Shower beer fridge! Very friendly and helpful staff. Discounted parking rates at the nearest NCP. Will definitely be coming back again.

Well worth a visit

A really lovely hotel. Staff were friendly, and the food was exceptional when we dined in the restaurant. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and overall we really enjoyed our stay. It was definitely worth the 6 hour drive!

Great place with some really nice touches and quirks (shower beers, record player etc) Only gripe would be that we booked a deluxe room for the sat night and then decided to add on the Friday night at a later date but could only get a standard double. Double was great so was expecting big things from the deluxe (captains room) but was left a bit disappointed as was nearly double the price and no real difference.If anything we probably preferred the standard double as seened to have more space and better layout. Definitely not worth the extra money but standard rooms are great

Room was clean, bed super comfy (Simba mattress and pillows), good selection for minibar, guitar in room was a plus, couldn't use record player as needle was broken(though record collection was mediocre anyway).. Downstairs the restaurant bar is very noisy but plenty of dining options outside
