It’s such a shame that we had a disappointing experience here as we were really looking forward to staying. The positive is the location. The hotel is right on Canal Street so it’s very handy if you’re wanting a fun night out. Also, the room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, there were a lot more negatives. The bed was directly below a huge velux window, which had broken blinds that let in all of the light very early in the morning. The coffee machine wasn’t working properly. The TV sound was broken so you couldn’t turn it up or down. The air-con wasn’t working properly either. When we mentioned anything to the hotel staff, they apologised but said they couldn’t move us because the hotel was full. I thought it was strange that they didn’t offer to send someone up to try and fix anything. Fortunately, I rang ebookers and they were able to help with some compensation. This reduced our disappointment slightly but it didn’t help us sleep past 6am when it started to get light. Thank you ebookers for your excellent customer service.

The room wasn't very clean at all, particularly the bathroom area. Wifi was very poor and difficult to connect which had a knock-on effect when trying to connect to the TV. Soundproofing is awful and you can hear rooms above and to the side.
