Hotel is in a great location; you can walk everywhere in the City; bus and train station is close by; shopping is close. Very convenient hotel and great staff.

The property was in excellent condition. The breakfast buffet was of an excellent quality. The staff were very helpful. The only negative to the hotel was that there was no parking available. If you’re driving, the closest parking facility is about 3 blocks away, however driving there takes quite awhile as a result of one-way streets and road construction. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed for one night for a birthday trip to Oxford. Chose the hotel for it's location - close to the Westgate Centre and a very short walk from the Park & Ride bus stop. The hotel is tucked away down a quiet backstreet but easy walking distance to the Westgate (excellent shopping and restaurants) and the town centre. The hotel rooms were spotless and well appointed with excellent bathrooms. There is a lovely sunny roof terrace for guest use - no bar up there but you can take your own drinks up or bring them up from the bar on the ground floor. Hotel staff were super friendly - on check out they even took a polaroid photo of the group as a memento! We are frequent visitors to Oxford and I would definitely stay here again.

Good base for an interesting city.

We found the hotel to be an excellent base for our visit to Oxford. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower worked instantly, tea & coffee making facilities welcome when we arrived & onwards, staff were pleasant & helpful, breakfast choices & quality excellent.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! I was looking for a place near Oxford University for my conference, and the Marriot exceeded my expectations! It was within walking distance of the Said Business School, where my meeting was held; the staff was friendly and helpful, and our stay was quite comfortable! I would highly recommend and return to stay again!

Clean, welcoming hotel.

Room was lovely and clean, bathroom spotless. There was a couple of staines on the carpet. Black out curtain are very effective. 12noon checkout was a welcome change, it’s often earlier. Very helpful staff on reception. Good location, very central but quiet. The roof terrace is a good addition.

The location was within walking distance to central Oxford, Westgate mall, bus and train stations, and other restaurants. Staff was friendly and willing to help. Specially the staff during breakfast who always created with a smile and ready to provide what we needed.

Great hotel in a great location.

We mentioned at reception that it was our silver wedding anniversary and when we returned to the room after a trip out, there was a card, a bag of cookies and 2 mini bottles of Prosecco waiting. A very nice touch from Belen. and much appreciated. Room is a good size. We prefer a bathroom which is a bit more private. Light from air conditioning control panel was very bright at night. Apart from that, we really liked the hotel and would return. Rooftop was nice at night.

Estuvimos en Oxford para conocer su Universidad y la hermosa ciudad. El hotel Courtyard es una magnífica opción de alojamiento por su cercanía con virtualmente cada punto de interés de Oxford. Las habitaciones son estupendas, el desayuno adecuado, y el personal de servicio magnífico, sobre todo la dama ecuatoriana que está en el counter.

Hotel is ok. Clean and generic. Felt dissatisfied with my choice of hotel. Main selling point is the location as you’re right in the city centre hence the price point. Checked in immediately greeted by workmen painting the corridor and wet paint signs on the wall. Lift out of action awaiting a part. You can get breakfast in the morning apparently you need to book a slot. I wouldn’t stay here again. Corridor noisy with workmen or staff taking loudly from fairly early which isn’t the best when you’ve just got off an overnight flight.
